Play To The Chords

Early access

A band that follows your chords, so practice feels like playing a gig.

Press Play and a full band starts up: drums, bass and rhythm guitar, in the key, tempo and style you pick. The chords show on screen and on a fretboard, so you always know what's coming and where to put your fingers.

Made for: Beginner and intermediate players

What you can do

Everything in Play To The Chords

A real band sound

12 band styles, from rock, pop and blues to reggae, jazz and bossa nova, each with its own grooves. The band plays soft, normal or big, with fills before each new section.

Three levels

Beginner shows every chord and gives you plenty of warning. Intermediate gives a short heads-up. Advanced shows only the chord numbers, so you learn to hear the changes.

See it on the guitar

The fretboard lights up the chord you're on: just the roots, or every note of the chord. Left-handed view and other tunings (Drop D, open G, DADGAD and more) are built in.

Scale shapes for soloing

Turn on a CAGED shape of the pentatonic or full scale and solo over the band. The 1 and the 6 are colour-coded so you can always find home.

Change anything, mid-song

New key, new style, new tempo: the band switches on the next beat without stopping, so you can keep playing.

Endless songs

Pick a progression or let it surprise you. Songs loop for as long as you like, with optional sections and key changes.
